Pravina Ramanathan is a Management, Human Resources and Public Relations Consultant. Most recently in 2018, Pravina helped University of West Florida with university’s Annual Florida Equity Report and the Affirmative Action Report.
Pravina Ramanathan worked as an organizer for Hillary for America and Michigan Coordinated Campaign. Before that she worked in human resources area, as a Management Consultant, worked for the State of Michigan in the Department of Civil Rights as an Asian American Liaison, and Civil Rights Enforcer for nearly two decades. She has an undergraduate degree in business and commerce, degree in Law and a Master Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling.
In 2012, she was conferred with a Fulbright Specialist award, and taught American Constitution, American Civil Rights Legislations to law students in the Law School at Christ University in Bangalore.
She has networked and extensively worked with the Asian American Community of Michigan. She has presented papers and conducted workshops both at the International, National, Regional, State, and Local levels regarding Labor Laws and Diversity issues.
She serves on several boards both at the local and the national level. She also served as the Civil Rights Liaison for the Governor’s Advisory Council of Asian Pacific American Affairs (ACAPAA). Pravina Ramanathan has received accolades for her Civil Rights work on behalf of Asian American Community.
