After obtaining a masters degree in Business Management from the University of Bath, UK, Rajesh started his career in PriceWaterHouse Coopers and later entered into various dynamic businesses of setting up small industries in metals, ferro-alloys, copper, cathode and trading of rare minerals and established global business in UK and Australia. He was actively involved in imparting business skills and technical knowhow to young entrepreneurs.
He was also inducted as Charter member of Madras Sterling Round Table and receiving meritorious accolades for the organisation. Earlier he was running leather garment units in Chennai, producing for some prestigious brands like Hugo Boss, etc. He was instrumental in the growth of his company which led them to receive “Best Export Performance” award from the Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India.
He contributes to many charities and institutes that focus on child education and welfare. He was working with Founder Member of Friends of USA Mr. Gordon Olson and Betty Olson. His immediate and effective service during the Chennai floods was greatly appreciated in all social media. Till date, he is actively involved in various charitable activities.
Rajesh has always been a people’s person and his core strength lies therein. He values integrity and loyalty.
He also actively consults with corporate firms and start-ups offering advisory services pertaining to mergers and acquisitions, restructuring of businesses, real estate, legal advice and turnkey projects.
Passionate about travelling, he enjoys the finer nuances of life. He has a small and close-knit family comprising of an entrepreneur wife, Ashu who runs her own travel business and two boys Vibhav and Siddhav – one pursuing hospitality and the other an investment banker.
