Ambassador Pradeep Kapur is currently a Visiting Clinical Professor, International Trade, Sustainable Development and Security Issues at the School of Public Policy, University of Maryland. He obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in electrical engineering and a Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Systems and Management from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi, India.
He has made significant contributions to outreach activities and international branding of UMD in India with leaders, officials, diplomats and business representatives. He has also offered lectures and courses on various courses for students across the world.
He was the Chairman of the 2018 WHEELS Global Foundation (WGF) Conference and was also appointed as the Chair of Advisory Board on the follow up conference at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in 2019.
He was elected as the President for the International Conference on “Connecting World Heritage Sites and Civilizations” and served as a Professor at the Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon, India. He is also the author of several distinguished articles and books.
